Meet the Team

Taylor Sullivan, PhD

My name is Taylor Sullivan, and I study electromagnetic signatures of the subsurface to characterize dynamic Earth systems and their surface expressions across time and space. My work integrates geophysical measurements with remote sensing to advance the resolution and reliability of environmental monitoring—from the near-surface atmosphere and vegetation canopy to soil and rock layers below. By fusing terrestrial, airborne, UAS-based, and spaceborne observations, I support model validation and develop high-resolution tools for tracking environmental and structural change across complex terrain.

My academic path began with a B.S. in Engineering Physics at Miami University, where I focused on power systems and renewable energy technologies. I continued at Miami for an M.S. in Physics, studying reduced-order modeling of turbulent fluid flows with applications in aerospace engineering. I began my Ph.D. at the University of Wyoming and completed it with the Cold Regions Research and Engineering Laboratory in Fairbanks, Alaska, where I investigated hydrogeophysical signatures of groundwater systems in data-sparse northern environments.

Today, I apply that foundational experience toward the hydrogeophysical characterization of surface and subsurface dynamics—bridging physics-based models and observation networks to inform remote sensing applications. My work supports practical decision-making across sectors

Jon Garman

My name is Jon Garman, I'm a Full Stack Developer with a deep focus on data engineering, automation, and integration. I specialize in designing and implementing systems that streamline data flows, automate complex processes, and enhance architecture scalability for enterprise platforms.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked across various roles that span front-end development, backend architecture, and technical team leadership. My core strength lies in building efficient, data-driven solutions.

I bring a strategic mindset to optimizing large-scale data systems. Whether it’s debugging complex issues, improving process control, or future-proofing infrastructure, I’m always focused on delivering sustainable, scalable results.
